We understand that coming to a new
Church, you might not know where everything
is. All we ask is that you ask someone, any
of our regulars or members will be more than
happy to point you in the right direction.
Also, here is some help on the "lingo" of
our location.
The Sanctuary-This is the
larger Sanctuary or the newer Sanctuary on
our property, It is where the Worship
Services and Wednesday night Bible Study and
Prayer Meetings are held.
The POST-No, it’s not a fort,
but it is where we prepare our Youth to
reach out to the World for Jesus. The POST
stands for Philippi Outreaching Student
Tabernacle. This is the original Sanctuary
or smaller Sanctuary on our Property. It is
the site for AWANA and the Youth Sunday
Night Worship Services.
The CFC-This is our Christian
Fellowship Center. We have sporting events,
meals, and fellowship gatherings here. It is
located in the rear of our facility on the
property. It is very user friendly and has a
wonderful kitchen.
The FFC (Family of
Faith Center)- Our
new kitchen and dining facility will be a 10,300
sq. ft. building complete with an industrial
kitchen with cafeteria style serving lines, five
petitioned-wall classrooms, fellowship dining
for nearly 700, and a complete audio-visual
package with stage. This facility will be used
for family night meals, education, banquets,
seminars, receptions, and a host of other
opportunities. This Phase III building project
is currently underway and can be followed on
it's progress by CLICKING
HERE! An architectural firm, Langley &
Associates, was secured and the drawings began.
In the days to follow, meetings were held with
various contracting companies, bids were cast,
and in the end, Boulware Construction secured
the job.

Classrooms-Even though it’s
obvious what these rooms are for, there are
many in our facility. All you need to do is
ask one of our Greeters which
room is having the specific program for
which you want to attend, we will be more
than happy to help you get where you need to
be.
The Hall of Faith-There is a
section of hallway in our facility dedicated
to the Heritage and History of our Church.
It contains mementos and artifacts of days
gone by at Philippi, along with photos and
historical items of interest. Ask where it
is and stop by for a look. We are proud of
where we came from and excited about where
we are headed. Our growth is for God’s
Glory. We even have a Church Historian named
Ms. Anne L. Patrick, who will be glad to
answer any questions you may have about our
history and heritage. Just click on her name

Remember, there are bathrooms
located
throughout our Church, Handicap parking
spaces,
wheelchair access,
and plenty of
seating.
